Selection & Implementation
It is of paramount importance to select the appropriate ERP System for your organization. With multiple options available in the market, you require an expert analyzing your internal requirements and then recommending a cost-effective tool that can cater to all the custom requirements of your Enterprise.
At SoftArt, we follow a standard, 4 Stage ERP Selection Process.
We understand that implementing a new ERP system is one of the largest investments of time, money, and resources your company will make. The process of ERP Implementation is directly dependent on your company’s specific requirements such as modules deployed, customizations required, and data conversion. To conduct such a task requires expertise that SoftArt is proficient to provide.
We have a customizable 7 Step Process of ERP Implementation.
We will document the need for the ERP System and detail the gaps in the current infrastructure that need to be filled.
Based on the established requirements, we will provide a list of ERP Options complete with an approximate ROI and a detailed list of all relevant functional capabilities.
We will filter the previous list to a shortlist subsequent to scheduled live demonstrations, software walk-throughs, references, and cost.
Our ERP consultants will sit with your team and select the most appropriate ERP Solution for your enterprise. They will then engage in vendor negotiations and establish a plan of action to begin ERP Implementation.
Define The Scope Of Implementation
We identify project milestones, customizations needed, process maps, and expected results.
Installing Test Environment
We install the solution in a “sandbox” environment and configure the system to match the necessary process workflow.
Migration & Mapping The Data
Data is migrated and mapped into the new system and performing verification checks.
Testing The System
We test the deployed system across all departments and consistently test and running through the quote-to-cash cycle.
Training End Users
We train the end-users in their specific functional areas based on roles and permissions. The “train the trainer” approach is utilized by us so that select users are trained on the system and then act as internal trainers.
We proceed with the Software deployment into the production environment, often referred to as the “go-live.”
We provide extended post-go-live support to ensure that post-deployment, there aren’t any caveats that are left unattended.
